The Saliba scarf is embroidered by me in London. I modernise Middle Easter techniques through interesting colour combinations and by experimenting with material and technique.

I use patchwork and appliqué techniques and my silk scarves are all locally made in London. I use a free-hand embroidery machine by using the stitch as my paint and the fabric as a canvas to draw on.

This product can be worn as a scarf as well as displayed as a wall-hanging in your home. Each embroidered product is unique and different from one another, with a creative and artistic quality. I embroider all of my products using traditional methods, but in organic and experimental ways. I view my work as painting on a canvas – the stitch is my paint, and the silk base of my accessories is the canvas. I work extremely organically and intuitively, and therefore this can be framed as artwork.

Please be aware that these accessories are made to order. I hold a sustainable approach at the forefront of my business, which produces less wastage and reduces the risk of over-stocking.
